It’s day 5 and guess what friends? I’m feeling it, I actually feel like I’m on a detox. It’s not horrible but I’m tired and have massive brain fog. It’s okay, I was starting to feel suspicious, it was feeling too easy. I slept well but lightly, no more brain revving, and have been waking up earlier the last couple of days. Grady mentioned he’s been sleeping lightly through this as well.
Today began the most restrictive part of the protocol, and I’ve been a little worried about being hungry but honestly my body doesn’t really feel like eating. Today we upped the detox beverage to 4 scoops a day. I’ve only been able to do 3, and I’m going to listen to my body and not force the forth scoop. We are no longer doing the green smoothies because the only fruits allowed from days 5-7 are apples and pears. Greens, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, onions are all encouraged on these days. I added a large dose of spinach to my morning and lunch detox beverage and it was great. I also sipped on lemon water. I didn’t feel like lunch so I had my second serving of the dynamic detox, again with spinach. Grady on the other hand has been hungry but by the end of the day even he can’t fit in the fourth serving of the beverage. Did I mention he’s now down 7 pounds?
What we ate-
Breakfast– Dynamic Detox blended with water and spinach.
Lunch– I had the same as breakfast, Grady had Jackfruit yellow curry with garbanzo beans.
Dinner– Pan fried salmon in a teaspoon coconut oil and a drizzle of sesame oil, ginger and garlic powder, spinach salad with avocado, red onions, and sliced apples, dressed with a splash of rice vinegar and a drizzle of sesame oil. This really hit the spot.
Snacks– Dynamic Detox beverage and apples.
