Day four! If you remember yesterday I was having that weird revving brain thing and my plan was to get more exercise today which I did. I started with the rebounder for 12 minutes in the morning and then went inline skating in the afternoon. I was definitely tired in the afternoon but it wasn’t too bad. Today was the first day I was wishing I could have a glass of wine, which was probably because I was tired and needed a break. I had a cup of tea and relaxed for awhile and that did the trick.
I realized when I went to make dinner that I have indeed been having the dreaded “brain fog”. The day before, I had purchased some frozen salmon, two big bags at Aldi. When I looked in the freezer it wasn’t there, I checked the fridge in the garage, not there, I checked the car (!) fortunately not there. I checked again, nope. Then I thought back to what my bill came to, something like $11 (very cheap based on all I had in my cart) so all I can figure is the checkout stopped short on ringing up my items and I was too spaced out to notice! The good news is that when I got to the checkout and looked at the salmon, I noticed that although it was “wild” it was imported from China and the protocol specifically states that it must be wild caught Alaskan salmon. I wanted to go back and switch it out but the lines were crazy because of covid, so I guess my spaciness did me a favor!
Grady has noticed that he is hungrier than normal and tired but nothing unbearable. I’m not hungry at all yet, and I feel like I’m constantly eating! My brain revving has stopped and I feel like I’ve slowed down a bit. Despite these symptoms we both have decided we want to do the 28 day Dynamic Detox sometime in the future. The highlight of the day for me was having the chocolate dynamic detox, it was so good! I’m seriously shocked!
What we ate:
Breakfast– Green smoothie.
Morning Snack– Chocolate Dynamic Detox.
Lunch– Chicken fajitas, and gazpacho (using up the abundance of garden veggies).
Dinner– Yellow curry with jackfruit and garbanzo beans.
